Solar modules (panels) convert sunlight into DC power. There are a number of different module technologies that include thin film (amorphous) and crystalline modules. Crystalline modules while historically more expensive than thin film, produced more power from the same area. As of late, the price difference per watt between the two technologies has shrunk, making crystalline modules the first choice in limited surface areas (like roofs).
OntarioPVPower sells crystalline solar modules manufactured in Ontario as well as from around the world. Many other countries have been developing and manufacturing solar modules for many years. We are able to benefit from their manufacturing developments for the balance of 2010. Beginning in 2011, modules will need to be assembled in Ontario to meet the OPA's content requirements.
We currently offer:

The solar module landscape in Ontario will evolve over the next few years as more companies setup in Ontario to meet the OPA domestic content requirements. We will continue to source products from all companies available, in an effort to provide our customers with the best product for the price.
